Zhouyan Wu is an architect and researcher born in China. She has a Bachelor of Architecture from Zhejiang University and a Master’s degree in architectural theory and design from Nanjing University. She has received her Ph.D. degree in architecture from the University of Tokyo.

Zhouyan is the co-founder of Studio GAWA (Guan And Wu Architects) based in China and has design experience through built work as well as international design competitions. Her research interests lie in urban design theory and urban morphology, with a particular focus on the measurement and representation of urban environment via moving image-based methods.
