Siqi Li is an architect and researcher based in Tokyo, Japan. After his study in architectural design at Xiamen University and Tianjin University, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo, in the Architectural Planning Laboratory.

His interests lie in the spontaneous appropriation of urban space, vernacular spaces and privately-owned public space. Additionally, he has gained extensive experience through international competitions and design projects in developing countries including China, Nepal, and Kenya.
